Ship shape down under thanks to Winlet Glazing Robot

Summit Window Systems recently put their Winlet glazing robot to work on a unique and beautiful project at Boat Harbour on Tasmania’s north-west coast, an area known for stunning beaches and clean, modern design. 

The job was to install extra large contemporary glazing panels in their new building being constructed, maximising the view to the ocean.

Thanks to the Winlet’s innovative lifting technology, Summit’s team were able to position the weighty glass panels accurately and securely. The hydraulic controls and compact chassis gave them the ability to manoeuvre each unit exactly where needed, reducing manual handling and increasing both site safety and efficiency. 

With works completed for principal contractor Fairbrother Construction and architect-led specifications, the result was a clean, high-quality finish, delivered safely, on time, and to exacting standards.
