Complex lifting projects call for more than capacity alone. When heavy press machinery needs to be moved through a working factory, control, coordination and clean operation all matter just as much.
A recent project showed exactly that, with a UK machinery moving team using two Valla pick and carry cranes in a complex tandem lift to move manufacturing press equipment weighing 28,500kg and 11,500kg. Working with a Valla 250E and a Valla V210RC, the team carried out the lift with the two cranes operating in tandem to manoeuvre the load safely and precisely through the factory and onto transport.
The project was a strong example of how electric lifting equipment can support demanding industrial work. Because both Valla cranes were all electric, the lift was completed with zero emissions inside the factory, making them well suited to enclosed manufacturing environments where clean operation is essential.
It also highlighted the value of precise controls and experienced operators. With both cranes working together on a tandem lift, careful coordination was key to keeping the press equipment stable and the movement controlled throughout.
For businesses involved in heavy industrial lifting, it is another clear example of how the right combination of specialist equipment and practical expertise can support complex factory moves safely and efficiently.
