Broadleaf Arborists has added an Oil&Steel Octoplus 21 to its fleet, giving the team a 20.7m working height and 10.6m outreach for tree care work across Shropshire and beyond. Its 785mm tracking width also allows the platform to reach work areas through narrow access routes and across ground where larger wheeled access equipment would be difficult to position.

Company director Tom Smallman has previously highlighted the value of the Octoplus 21 when working on weakened or distressed trees, where brittle branches can make conventional rope access less suitable. The platform allows the team to work from the basket and manage tree reduction from the top down, while keeping boom cabling, hoses and the drive chain protected inside the boom section where they are less exposed to branches.

Scene Windows has taken delivery of a Winlet 575 glazing robot, adding extra lifting capability for glass installation work across the UK. The new machine will support the team with handling large glazing units, helping reduce manual handling while giving installers greater control as glass is moved and positioned on site.

With a 575 kg lifting capacity and 3.6 m lift height, the Winlet 575 combines strong lifting performance with a compact footprint suited to both indoor and outdoor glazing projects.

The sale continues a long-standing relationship with Scene Windows and adds another Winlet to the growing number of glazing robots being used by specialist contractors around the UK.

N & J Tree Services Ltd has taken delivery of a new Oil&Steel Octoplus 21, adding a compact tracked boom to its fleet for arborist and tree work. With its combination of strong working height, outreach and manoeuvrability, the Octoplus 21 is well suited to tree surgery and other working-at-height tasks where access can be challenging. The handover marks another investment in specialist access equipment designed to support safer and more efficient work on site.

A new Oil&Steel 2010H Plus on an Iveco Daily to Italian rental specialist AIR NOLO, supporting its work with the Municipality of Cingoli.

The 20m truck-mounted platform will be used for maintenance at height across the municipal area, helping improve efficiency while supporting safe operation for the team on site.

Baudoin Henry Couverture has taken delivery of the first new 26-metre Oil&Steel Snake 26 articulated truck-mounted lift to arrive in France.

The sale was supported by Tadano’s authorised service provider JHN Jourdain, which will also maintain the platform, helping ensure strong after-sales support alongside the delivery. It is a good example of increasing demand for compact articulated truck mounts across roofing, maintenance and specialist access applications.
