Winlet glazing robot training

Winlet glazing robots are designed to be easy to use – and productivity and safety can be enhanced still further with vacuum robot training.

Hird, the UK and Ireland distributor for Winlet, offers expert familiarisation training to all customers who buy Winlet products.

Accredited glazing robot training

We also designed the nationally-recognised vacuum robot training course accredited by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).

The one-day course covers all aspects of vacuum robot use, including regulation and guidance related to vacuum robots, pre-use checks, controls, equipment operation, weight assessment and signalling.

Class and practical instruction is included and, of course, all training is carried out using Winlet glazing robots.

Who should attend?

Structured training underpins safety, productivity and succession planning in any effective operational team so is recommended.

The course is open to delegates with no experience, those who are experienced and want to become certified LEEA vacuum robot operatives, or those who manage teams that use Winlet glazing robots.

We can arrange a course for operatives in one company or your team members can be booked into a general course with delegates from different companies.

Training can be carried out at one of our four training centres around the UK. If conditions are appropriate, courses can be held at customer premises or worksites.

Vacuum robot certification

Successful delegates receive a LEEA certificate and photo-card valid for five years. At which point, the holder will have to undergo refresher for the qualification to be renewed.
